While I relish the challenge of capturing any subject on film, I am particularly inspired when taking images of those things that are also my personal passions in life - in particular: food, the Great Outdoors and classic/sports cars. The shapes, colours and textures of life interest me, and the way that objects interact. I like to give inanimate subjects life by exploiting colour, shadow and unusual angles and aspects. I take pleasure in catching the beauty in things we see (and often ignore) on an everyday basis. In my capacity as photographer for EnjoyNorwich.com and EnjoyNorthNorfolk.com, I spend a good deal of time photographing local scenes and commercial venues (hotels, restaurants, etc.). As a result of the hugely positive response I have had to my photographs, I displayed some limited edition prints for the first time last year (2008). You can see examples of my work on the walls of The Lawns Hotel & Wine Bar in Holt, Norfolk and The Anchor Inn, Morston, North Norfolk.
